Hello! I'm Jefferson Conza, a senior undergraduate student in the Mathematics Bachelor's Program at Yachay Tech University (Ecuador) and a Machine Learning Engineer. I completed intensive training with Anyone AI and hold a certification as a Cloud Application Developer from the AWS Cloud Institute.
Focus Areas & Research
My work sits at the intersection of applied mathematics, scientific computing, and modern artificial intelligence:
- Scientific Machine Learning (SciML) & PINNs: Developing Physics-Informed Neural Networks to model physical phenomena and solve differential equations (1D Burgers, 2D thermal diffusion, Navier-Stokes).
- Computer Vision & Deep Learning: Generative models such as CycleGAN for isotropic reconstruction in 3D microscopy and hybrid Transformer-CNN architectures (CheX-DS) for medical diagnostics.
- Cloud & MLOps with AWS: Deployment and orchestration of inference services using Docker containers, FastAPI microservices, checkpoint persistence in Amazon S3, and EC2 GPU instances.
History, Scientific Discoveries & Outreach
Beyond numerical modeling and code, I am deeply passionate about researching and communicating history, milestones in space exploration, and scientific breakthroughs that reshaped human understanding. I enjoy crafting mathematical animations with Manim (such as for the Gagarin Day initiative) and writing essays that connect human curiosity with scientific rigor.
Languages
I communicate fluently in Spanish (native) and English (advanced C1 level), and actively study German (Deutsch) and Hebrew (Ivrit).
Contact & Collaborations
I am always open to collaborating on research projects, data engineering challenges, or open-science initiatives.
